Millets based diet can be a potential game changer in reducing malnourishment in the impoverished regions of the world.

Millet needs around 200 liters of water for plantation to harvest of 1 kg of Millet, while equivalent rice needs 5000 lts of water. This will help in reducing the water dependence of agriculture.

Millet are known to be attacked by little or no pest, virtually making a natural organic plant.

Why this festival?

Come and eat some delicious cuisines made from Millets. A general awareness of this crop may improve demand across the globe.
